Born and raised in Baltimore, MD as Latia Betty Fisher. An African American female growing up in a single family home until I met my father at thirteen. My mother always hoped for me to know my dad and I was blessed to know that I came from love. So I'm very huge on promoting love. I believe it is the essential key that we are missing in our current society.
I started writing when I was in high school. I was about fifteen years old and my creative writing teacher was amazing. I later learned that writing would be the one thing that I possessed that no one could take away from me. All these years later I am now a two time author. I have self published my very own poetry book in 2015. "My Heart Speaks Volumes". I am also featured in an anthology with fifteen other women called "Reflections: I Wish I'd Known". In this book i focus on self love.
I operate and have several businesses and in doing so I make it my duty to give my time and donations back to the youth of Baltimore. I host a prom giveaway every year. I have exceed that expectation to also helping girls in South Africa through The Ojo Prom Giveaway Foundation. In honor of my father who passed away. I also try to volunteer down at some of the centers in Baltimore as well. I believe it is all of our job to support and uplift our communities.
